*** Now Taking Applications***Russel would do best in a home with children 12 years or older and he is generally good with other dogs.Russel is a sweet boy with lots of love to offer his new family. He is a shy boy but with time and the proper introduction he warms up fast. Ignoring him and letting him come to you is the best method. Reaching out to pet him or have him sniff your hand by sticking it in his face is not a safe way to greet a dog. Obedience classes are recommended to teach him skills and manners. Crate training is also a must to keep him out of trouble and to assist with housebreaking. As with any dog, rules and structure are a must. Russel will make a wonderful companion for adopters with lots of love to offer him. Supervision around children and other pets is advised .
