Adopt a cat from the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA
July 6 Update:
Adopting a pet is a wonderful way to add some love into your life and give a stray or abandoned animal a home. Committing to love and care for an animal completely dependent on you is a serious decision. Recently we have found that quite a few animals that have been adopted are being returned for various reasons. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and perhaps existing pets aren’t getting along with the new addition. If you have questions about your newly adopted pet we are here to answer them. We are committed to supporting our adoptions through advice, recommendations or when needed, referrals. All of these animals have been in a shelter once in their life and it is our hope that each and every one finds true forever homes. Thank you to everyone who has opened their homes and their hearts to abandoned animals in our community. We couldn’t do this without you.
Adoption is a feel-good way to become a pet owner.
