Sign-up for camp at the HBSPCA and you’ll get to play animal-themed games, meet animal experts and get crafty. Discover how to care for animals, how to properly handle them and why it is so important to respect our animal friends!

While there is some touch and petting time with small critters, direct contact with the animals at the shelter is minimal.

At the HBSPCA, campers are the most important part of camp. Please see the following guides for information regarding our camp program, daily activities and policies and procedures related to our March and Summer Camp Programs:

Summer Break Camp

  • Dates: July 4-August 19, 2016
  • Ages: 6-11 (see below for weekly ages)
  • Cost: $200/week or $120/short week (Tuesday-Thursday only)
  • Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Before care: 8:00-8:30am ($6)
  • After care: 4:30-5:00pm ($6)

Week 5 (4 day week) Ages 6-8 August 2—August 5 (4 day week) Aug 3: Alpacas from Eighth and Mud
Week 6 Ages 9-11 August 8—August 12 Aug 10: Alpacas from Eighth and Mud
Week 7 Ages 6-8 August 15—August 19 Aug 17: Dairy Farm

*Note: Campers will be picked up and dropped off at our shelter (245 Dartnall Rd.) during all trips days.
