Community Spay & Neuter Assistance Program

The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA provides low-income pet owners an opportunity to have their animals spayed or neutered at a reduced cost. Subsidies are granted to those who meet the low income criteria. Learn more

Pet Encounter Therapy

Pet Encounter Therapy is a program of animal-assisted activities that brightens the day of residents in nursing homes, retirement homes, adult day care facilities, as well as hospital patients and students in special needs classes. The program increases the recovery rate of patients and successfully assists with a variety of physical, physiological and psychosocial impairments. Learn more

Trap, Neuter and Return

The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA's Trap, Neuter & Return program helps control the overpopulation of feral cats in downtown Hamilton. Our goal is to sterilize at least 600 feral cats each year. Learn more
