We have 3 unique programs dedicated to serving the diverse members and partners in our network.
Our Pet Health Community Outreach Program is designed specifically for low-income-verified pet owners, to ensure that cost never becomes an impediment to accessing quality surgical care.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, partners and volunteers, our Subsidized Local Community Program supports population control and health across Hamilton and Burlington.
And finally, understanding that veterinary care can be challenging to find across Ontario, we support non-local residents who need our help with our Out-of-Community Capacity Program.
Regardless of which program you choose, they each come at one comprehensive, integrated price.
Pet Health Community Outreach Program
Everyone should have access to affordable and high-quality veterinary services.
Income-qualified individuals can attend an initial Outreach Clinic with us to obtain updated vaccinations and veterinary support.
After attending your first Outreach Clinic, you may be eligible to receive a referral for our Low-Income Spay & Neuter Services.
Income is qualified based on your CRA Notice of Assessment.
Subsidized Local Community Program
Thanks to our generous donors, community partners, and volunteers, we provide daily Subsidized Spay & Neuter Services.
This is available for every local companion animal in Hamilton and Burlington that is healthy, and between 4 months and 6 years of age.

Once you register for your appointment above, you'll receive an email with all the details you need, including prepping your animal for the appointment. You will be provided with a specific drop-off time (generally between 8 am and 9 am) and pick-up time (generally between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm) prior to your appointment.

Become a Student Veterinary Volunteer!
Our clinic has a regular roster of university student volunteers and we provide valuable clinic experience for Ontario Veterinary College applications.
Most of our volunteer openings occur in the spring and fall, however we often need additional volunteers throughout the year. Please send your cover letter, resume, class schedule, and availability to us below!
